Move onto the next stage of tango foundations with six new figures that relate to and build upon the ones covered in Tango Foundations - I. During this series great care and emphasis will be given to mastering of the basics and finding the natural flow of your dance. Gain a deeper understanding of the psychological state of Flow by learning and applying concepts from Japanese aesthetics and Daoist philosophy from ancient China.

The parallel and cross system in Argentine tango. The walk, and weaving in and out of the systems. And, finally the basic in the cross system.
Flow concept: Pu (朴 )
Review and refinement of Ocho's. Introduction to Sacadas or displacement. Learn how to lead and follow a Sacada effectively. Learn to combine Ochos and Sacadas.
Flow concept: Wabi-Sabi (侘寂)
Review and refinements of the Giro. Giro to the right and to the left, with clarity, grace and stability. How to lead the Media Vuelta (turn around), an evolution of the Giro.
Flow concept: Yin Yang (陰 陽)
Learn to lead and follow the Barrida or the Sweep effectively, with stability and grace. Do the Barrida after resolution of a Cross, an Ocho or a Giro. Done as shown in the illustration.
Flow Concept: Jo-ha-kyū (序 破急)
Review and refine the Boleo from Tango Foundations and learn to do it with the right timing and grace. Learn to do it with both legs, forward and backward. Boleos can combine with Ochos. Done as shown in the illustration.
Flow Concept: Ma (間)
Introduction to the close embrace in Argentine tango. Learn the rules for right intimacy and communication. How to move effectively in the close embrace, finishing with the deep back cross, a beautiful tango figure, and a variation of the tango cross.
Flow Concept: Wu Wei (无为)
