His passion for Argentine tango took root in 2015, deepened by learning with artists like Pablo Verón in Buenos Aires and Rome. He’s also been inspired by U.S. Argentine tango pioneer Richard Powers at Stanford, enriching his knowledge. A seasoned performer and teacher, Karn integrates meditation into his teaching philosophy, focusing on authenticity and understanding. Through his school Feeling Flow, he promotes dance as a path to self-discovery and growth.
Mila Salazar
Mila, a Bay Area resident, is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer deeply rooted in Tango. Feeling Flow: Hosted at a historic heritage house in Palo Alto, we are inspired to help people experience flow through dance, yoga, meditation, and related arts, and give them basic tools to translate this experience into other areas of life. Flow is a state of awareness where we are completely immersed in what is right in front of us. It is a highly satisfying state that facilitates well-being and growth. Art, in essence, is a form of self-discovery and a connection practice. It is said that the best way to know yourself is through the mirror of relating to others, and what better way to do this than through music and movement while having fun?
